-
- Most of the Tandberg TDC3600 SCSI tape drives are configured to
- automatically retension the tape every time a tape is inserted into
- the drive, or when the system is reset or powered on.
-
- TandbergConf provides the ability to reconfigure the drive so it will
- automatically position the tape at the load point (beginning of the tape)
- when the tape is inserted or the system is reset or powered on.
-
- This configuration can be temporary (won't survive a reboot), or permanant.
-
- Type TandbergConf without any parameters for usage instructions.
-
- The specs on how to program the Tandberg drive came from Goncal
- Badenes (badenes@imec.com), and are included in this archive.
-
- The code is a very small subset of the execllent program SCSIutil,
- written by Gary Duncan (gduncan@philips.oz.au), and updated for CD-ROM
- by Heiko Rath (hr@brewhr.swb.de). The code is used by permission of the
- author.
-
- This code is freely distributable for non-commercial purposes.
